U.S. 1st Armored Division : ウィキペディア英語版
1st Armored Division (United States)

The 1st Armored Division—nicknamed "Old Ironsides"—is an armored division of the United States Army. The division is part of III Corps, with its base of operations in Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. It was the first armored division of the U.S. Army to see battle in World War II.
Major General Stephen M. Twitty assumed command of the 1st Armored Division on August 5, 2014.〔Change of command ceremony accessdate=2014-10-30〕
The division command group consists of:
*Commanding General: Major General Stephen M. Twitty
*Deputy Commanding General (Operations): Brigadier General Daniel R. Waltrath. Waltrath is to oversee all aspects of combat operations for the 4 BCTs.〔(''Fort Bliss Bugle'' ) accessdate=2014-10-30〕 He has been replace by Brigadier Frazer Lawrence.〔https://www.bliss.army.mil/Leaders/DCG-Operations.html〕
*Deputy Commanding General (Support): Brigadier General Leopoldo A. Quintas, Jr.〔Quintas is to oversee logistics of the division, as well as operations of the sustainment brigade, the CAB, and division artillery --(''Fort Bliss Bugle'' ) accessdate=2014-10-30〕
*Deputy Commanding General (Maneuver): Brigadier General Francis M. Beaudette〔Beaudette is currently commander for Central Command's missions in Jordan --(''Fort Bliss Bugle'' ) accessdate=2014-10-30〕
*Chief of Staff: Colonel Ross Coffman
*Command Sergeant Major: Command Sergeant Major Lance Lehr
==Current structure==

Since relocating to Fort Bliss, Texas, the division has been reorganized under the new modular design, in which the deployable unit of maneuver is a brigade, rather than a division. The division consists of three brigade combat teams (BCTs), a combat aviation brigade (CAB), a division artillery brigade,〔The Fires Battalions remain integral to the BCTs; division artillery (DIVARTY) is responsible for training and readiness for the artillery battalions. (("DIVARTY back in Army ‘Iron Steel’ Brigade comes to Bliss, 212th FB bids farewell" ''Fort Bliss Bugle'' ) )〕 and a sustainment brigade.
After the spring of 2015, 3rd IBCT deactivated after redeploying from Afghanistan, and its maneuver battalions joined the remaining three BCTs; 4th ABCT has reflagged as 3rd BCT.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=''Fort Bliss Bugle'', 14 Aug 2014 ) (4-1 ABCT reflags to 3-1 BCT ), accessdate=2015-04-22〕
